yeah it was used for hair ties too, back in the day! LOL.  You won't find it it with the yarns, knitting supplies at any of the above. I searched all of those not long ago, needed that type yarn for a craft project.  I found a bit at Christmas, with gift wrap.

Maybe you could take some wool and twist and dye your own big yarn if you can't find the same color for sale.  Hope it does not come to that.
