Pretty cool method for the eyes. I've used the clear plastic two part Christmas ornaments in craft stores before for eyes but never used the "real" thing. Always thought they would break to easy. Then again maybe the ones you use are not the glass ones but plastic also. They look great!

Thanks .
I don't want to break one to discover what it's made from but I bought the ones used for this puppet and the Fuzzwatt one in a set. It was for either one dollar or less, in an after Christmas sale for eight of them. There is an earlier puppet I made using the same concept for eyes but I think those bulbs are either plastic or styrofoam. Real cheapies from Hobby Lobby in that case and bought just as the "store season" for the holidays was starting up.
...I'd like to show my earlier work here. You're an Admin., do you think a thread might be the best way or maybe a personal gallery? This is the second forum I've ever entered where people could make personal galleries, but I'm more used to feedback in threads on my work.

My personal recommendation would be to make a gallery, and then use the pics from the gallery in a new thread. This place is incredibly tolerant about how things get done. I'm looking forward to seeing your previous work.
Re: Quetzalcoatl Being Made ... Posted by Shawn on Apr 09, 2013
I agree with Chris. You are more then welcome to create your personal album in the gallery but often people do not catch the images and give feed back in them unless you then come and post in the forum and embed the images in it. There is a comment function in the gallery but you must make sure that you have enabled email notifications for you either you album or the gallery as a whole or it is easy to miss when something new is posted unless you keep an eye on it. You can see all the new comments in the gallery via a link in the drop down menu for it but folks seem to miss that.

Thanks for your thoughts guys .
I just made a thread showing as much work as I could find for photo examples of what I made before this piece. I'll be making my personal gallery tomorrow ...it's been a really long day.

Somehow, I totally missed this thread!
Can't add much to what's already been said, except that your puppet turned out SO cute. And I love the little one in your avatar. Nice work.
