Hi all,

It's been some time since I've posted to this site (6 years from what I can tell).

While researching parade puppets, I came across the site again, and started playing with a hand puppet pattern that I found online.  While I was working on it, my 4 year-old daughter asked me if I could make Little Red Riding Hood for her.  I told her that I probably could, which led her to asking for Red's mother, grandmother, and, of course, the Big Bad Wolf.

Last week I put together a couple of basic heads made from 1" foam.


I'm hoping to add mouths and cover them this week, provided I can get them away from my daughter long enough.


She's having a great time with them so far!

She has an active imagination.  So cute that bare puppet heads brought her so much pleasure. Your project together will be a precious memory she will never forget.
