Easy and Simple Puppet Class Posted by MsPuppet on Apr 24, 2013
I'm headed to MS later this week to conduct a workshop. One of the classes will be "Easy and Simple Puppets You Can Make."

The attendees are school teachers, Children's ministry workers, and day care teachers.  The objective of the class is to demo some puppets, make a few, the turn the attendees loose to peruse the table full of supplies available.  They will each make a puppet (or more, depending on time).

I've taught this before and it's a fun class. Amazing how simple things like pool noodles, spatulas, dusters, bath scrubbies, fly swatters and more can become neat puppets.

If any of you have made this type of puppet, I'd love to see some pictures (and with your permission, show them to the class).  Creativity ignites creativity!

Teaching 5 different sessions in a day and a half.

Another class is about Illusions. Since we will set up and sell while we are there, I'm currently making change bags to add to our inventory of puppets. Not as much fun as puppets, LOL.

I'd love to see photos of your workshops! I have taught the same type of workshop with a variety of results - I believe there are quite a few photos in my gallery here. But also on my facebook page you can find photos of some of my workshop puppets. BUT I'd really love to see your photos! On my website I have some downloadable puppet activities that you are welcome to if they are different from what you already use. I agree it is always fun to see all the different types of puppets from the same types of materials!
