Can you help me write a letter to our local library. I'm a puppeteer and storyteller. Since this is a new adventure for me, my first few shows will be free; then I would hope I would get hired. I need a letter to write the library and ask can I perform my 'edutainment' shows - which would be storytelling and puppet shows. I have my own storybooks and other materials for kids 2-9 year old.

Giving them a DVD of one of your performaces might help.

That's a great idea, but I'd be sure to include the DVD with a cover letter and some marketing materials. A business card wouldn't hurt too.
