So, so jealous of your space! I have taken over half the house, I have so many projects spread out. I'm actually going to have a garage sale in a couple of weeks to clear out even more space. I swear, we aren't going to have any place to sleep soon, lol.

I have a free standing air filter, and I change it out every three months, and I STILL have a problem with dust (not as bad as before though). It helps, but it's not a permanent solution.

Lola, I can relate. I spent years sharing space with my creations. I would sew in any spare space and at times as a consequence found fur in my food months after the fact I say bring on the garage sale my friend!
Na, just read the article. LOVE those racks. What an awesome and inexpensive idea!

Thanks! So nice to think of ways to use stuff instead of throwing it away!
Oh and I feel for you about the fur. I bought a big bag of polystyrene balls (like for bean bags) years ago and it had a leak... I've been finding little balls all over the place for ages.

Great inspiration Na! Love how you drew on the fronts the bottom half of what should be in the slot.

Had me LOLing about the fur. I just accept that I am covered with it when I leave the house. I got myself one of the fancy lint removers, since doing the tear sheets was costing a fortune, and bad for the earth.
You know it's bad when you go to the bank to make a deposit, instead of saying, "Did you know you are covered in crazy hair fibers", it's now, "Oh, that's a pretty color. What are you working on?"

Na your outlines are awesome. I thought this would be good for kids who can't read yet and older folks who forgot how to read a label. They are just fun to look at too, and what a great price. You two are inspiring me to get more organized.

Thank you both. Although Snail, I'm not sure the 'labels' would be all that easy to understand without an explanation. The scissors for instance - if you wanted it to be recognisable, then painting the scissors slightly open (instead of closed as I did) would make more sense. I do agree though that having a visual guide is really useful.
And these could easily be made with thick mount board or cardboard - grab a box for packing and cut it up, glue the pieces together! Such an easy item to make with whatever's lying around.
I love how one person can inspire another and that inspires everyone else!

That's too awesome Lola! I realised I had a problem when I went to the bathroom only to find fur had somehow found it's way in to my underwear. Needless to say I am far more diligent in cleaning up as I go now! That stuff can get anywhere!
