Valita, I'm self taught based on the stuff I've learned here and years of doll making. I have no doubt my designs are flawed in many ways. I've never really performed with my puppets so have no idea how they'd hold up - they probably wouldn't! You definitely have an edge I don't have performance wise and I'd love to see your work in person. How awesome to have a fellow puppet enthusiast within reach! To be honest, I've never seen a puppet that hasn't been mass produced so the opportunity to chat techniques face to face would be just awesome I'm so pleased you found us here!

For the podcast there are several options:
1. Just check this page once a month... http://www.schoolofpuppetry.com.au/tutorials.php/podcasts/
2. Register for the podcast RSS... http://feeds.feedburner.com/SchoolOfPuppetryPodcast (Can sign up via your own preferred podcast service, a blog reader account, or get notifications via email, or whatever)
3. Register for the website RSS and get podcasts plus everything else... http://feeds2.feedburner.com/PuppetsInMelbourne (as in #2, minus the bit about preferred podcast service)
4. Subscribe via iTunes... https://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/school-of-puppetry-podcast/id600371728
