Hello everyone,
I've been pretty busy and haven't been floating around here as much as I used to. I've been working on a project with a friend, Chris Esper. He is a fantastic director. He does mostly short films, but has always loved puppetry and it was his dream to direct a puppet series.
Chris and I share our love of puppetry through an idea I came up with years ago for YouTube. It took a lot of time and energy coming up with this series, but we finally released our first episode of Puppatics.
Puppatics received its name based on the fact that they're lunatic puppets. The series is about this crazy crew trying to get on television, but will end up having to fall back on YouTube due to the chaos that happens in their Studio.
I hope everyone enjoys watching this as much as Chris and I had filming. We're going to try our best to get at least one episode out a month. Thanks! It WAS a long time actually. It started out in 2003 as I was looking for new ways to bring back puppetry to an older audience. I flip flop'd ideas between themes. Originally I liked the of spoofing classic fairy tales and using card board back grounds. Thank goodness I figured out how to work chroma-key.
As it stands, we're scheduled for shooting the 2nd episode on the 6th of August, and we're hoping to get that on the channel quickly. Its going to be a bigger shoot involving more characters and a couple more performers. Subscribe to the channel and you'll be the first to catch it!

I just wanted to stop by and let everyone know we've posted episode 2. Episode 3 will be out next month. Episode 2 had a curse, but we're past that and hopefully won't run into any other issues.
This one introduces you to the rest of the crew. There is sure to be a favorite character for everyone.
