If anyone is interested in adopting the site, please let me know. I'm happy to continue to pay the web hosting costs, I just have no interest in doing the content/marketing anymore.

Thanks to everyone here who supported me, especially those who tested patterns, offered feedback and just in general encouraged me in so many ways. You guys have been awesome; and Shawn a big big  for all your help and kindness.

Sorry to hear this Na. I am glad that you are keeping the site content up.  I know it has helped a lot of folks.  Let me know if there is anything you need.

Thanks. Actually I'm quite relieved and happy at this point. I had a little nutty last week when my computer broke, but now I'm just moving on and glad to be able to get on with other things. I've felt like SOP was a weight around my neck for quite some time and I think this was just the tipping point I needed to actually reconsider WTF I was doing

I'm sure my tone doesn't come across to others who read this, but I suspect Shawn, you will understand the slight subtext to what I'm saying.

It's worth mentioning that the site content is still there but already I see people can't be bothered following a very basic cut-and-paste instruction in order to access it. If you have suggestions of how better to host it without it bothering me (this version was my compromise, if I leave it as it was I'd fiddle with it) then let me know.

As for anything I need: no, but thank you for asking!

Leave it alone!   Try to put it out of your mind now that you have decided. Yep folks are not going to follow the links unless they are really wanting to get to the information. Nothing can be done about that.

Haha, I just meant that maybe you had some suggestions for those who might adopt it. I definitely don't care now if people figure out the instructions or not, I've moved on completely minus a few tying of threads once I get my computer back from the repairers. (sigh... Damn computers!)

Sorry to see you closing up "shop" (so to speak), but ... when you gotta move on, then you gotta move on.

Thanks for the bookmark links ... more than enough to keep me surfin' for a month or three

Regards,
Dorian

I'm happy for you! I had no idea how you kept up with everything, and glad you will be able to focus on your own projects now. It's really great of you to keep up the content for the rest of us. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the kind thoughts guys, and you're welcome! Not closing shop so much as closing one project in order to work on others. It's a nice feeling actually, a sense of relief that I can move on from something that's been stressing me out for quite some time now.

I miss your avatar! Kitty is nice but I feel like I am talking to a stranger.

haha I know, I keep seeing the cat and going "who the hell is that?"

But I think for the time being not having a logo up is a good idea. *wink wink*
