What did you use as a base for this? Looks like it is a pretty big project, either that or that is a very small chair.

she will be quite large Shawn. I found a series of videos on how to build giant puppets. The link is for making a cardboard base for the head.

I'm fascinated and inspired!  Can't wait to see how your project turns out!  We are in a parade every year in our town and I'm thinking of doing something like this to be different from the other floats.

Very nice! You left the skin "raw".  I like that.  I would suggest doing a good clear seal over the entire project just for protection, but then you had most likely already thought of that.

Message ImageEach May we participate in All Species Day at the state capitol.
This giant puppet was made by a friend years ago for the spring goddess. I thought we needed another different aspect of the goddess energy,so thats what I'm going for. Not as large as this one. For only one person to wear.
