Short story: I'm renaming, starting over completely. There are many personal and business reasons, many of which I discuss in detail above. It's a long post but really worth reading for the details as it covers things that many puppetry-as-business people would be interested in. For instance, the need to plan beforehand about having clear concise language of what you do and sell, as well as visuals to fit.

Great insite, have to say there were alot of parts that I whole heartedly agreed with you.
I think you were very brave bearing all and also very generous in sharing your journey warts and all.
Congrats on taking that step and hoping that the next ones are only moving up.

Slightly relieved. I have a whole bunch of non-puppetry work I'm slowly getting done, so really it's not a 'relief' so much as a bit of space until I can get that stuff done and out of the way. If nothing else it just makes it all easier to juggle.

You have no idea how much I've self-censored. Really. The brave thing would have been to mention all the other personal sh** that's been going on. And actually the brave thing is actually the launch plan. (You'll understand when/if that's revealed)

And thank you for the encouragement! 2014 may be a whole lot better ... we'll see.

Is anyone on this thread ready/available to do some reading? I have a basic write up of my business plan ready, it's very light reading and I'd love some feedback. At this stage there is nothing about the online fundraising campaign I plan to hold, mostly because it's not ready yet. But I figure some feedback on the overall brand ideas would be useful at this stage anyway.

As it's somewhat private, anyone who wants to read it will get it via email.

Anyone else have time to give me some feedback? I have just now written up a script for a launch video which I hope is good. I'm not particularly adept at writing promo videos and can be too 'artsy' so I really need some feedback on it if I'm to hit the right note.
