This is 'Funky' the hippy fox.  His upper body is about 28 inches tall and his head is pole controlled.  The mouth is operated by a trigger control.  He has a detachable lower body that can be snapped on for walk around puppetry (will have images of that shortly). He may get his own YouTube channel, we'll have to see.

Hi Furfaces...I'll see if I can get some images or a diagram of the control.  No metal in the controls other then a couple of screws for pivots and a wire between the levers.  The pole itself is a short length of 1/2 PVC electrical conduit,  most of the rest is made of 1/16 polystyrene plastic bent to shape using a hot blower. The entire mechanism is basically two pieces; one is the trigger at the bottom of the pole, the other is a larger lever that fits into the lower jaw.  I used a RC plane servo control rod to connect the two and have an elastic band to keep the jaw closed.
