Hey Guys for the past few days I've been building this little pup. The idea is to have a tiny dog to go with my giant cat :D I'm okay with the face, but the body has a very uneven seem. The seem goes around, and the left is much higher than the right. Not sure how this happened, maybe I was watching too much tv while sewing. I started on the right, I think the seem actually started going higher when trying to get rid of gathers. Wondering what some of you guys think... Is it super noticeable? Thinking about covering it again with another layer of fleece but have the seem down the middle like most people do. I definitely need to decide before putting on limbs and tail. For now I'll just do the neck sleeve.

If it was me, it would bother me and I would have to change it. I guess it depends on whether you can live with it or not?

My first thought was that your fabric is two different sizes, so when you're sewing one to the other, one side gathers because it's too long. You can always try oversewing the folds so they're less noticeable.

It doesn't bother me too much. But I realized that I should make the fix. If I want to get better as a builder I need to uphold quality and go the extra mile. Wouldn't feel right if I gave this to someone else.

And yeah, the two pieces are different sizes, definitely doing it over.

Thanks for the feedback!

Hmm, 'nice' to know I was on the right track... that was a total guess based on my limited sewing experience.

Glad you resolved your dilemma. Nice work on the puppy though, he's looking great!
