This is my first puppet commission.  He is for a comic book review webcast.  His eyes blink, his arm rods are removable and the fingers on his left hand have small clips inside so that he can hold onto comic books on the show.
This was a fun build, but a little more stressful when building for a paying customer than when building for yourself.  When I'm working on just a fun project, happy accidents are easily embraceable.  But for someone else with specific ideas in mind, you have to stay close to the design. 

So far, customer seems happy.  But they haven't put him on yet.  So we'll see.

Unfortunately I only took the one quick shot before I sent him along to his new owner.  Perhaps I will request a few snaps.  He will be seen on screen around Halloween time if that's any consolation. Thanks for the feedback though.  Much appreciated.

Excellent bat, love the two tones of fur.

Those bats would sell here in Austin, they give tours of the bats downtown. We found a bat at our office the other day, I like yours better.
