Great puppet!  I really like the fur and the purple in the eyes. He's really cool.  As a new puppet builder I would be super keen to see a tutorial on pattern making!

I like him.  Does he have a ring tail too?  I saw a large skunk where they had a thin elastic cord from the back of the head to the tail so it stayed up and bobbed when he moved. Or you could put a rod in the tail and have it be mischievous too. Good luck with those hands, I might stuff them a little more.

Thanks Snail!  Yep, he has an official raccoon ringed tail.  There is a length of 10 gauge cooper wire holding it up which is anchored at the bottom of the body with a bolt.  I'm doing some more photos this weekend so I'll make sure I have a tail image.

I have the hand issue resolved by remaking them in black fleece. I think they look okay but, I'll be interested to hear what others have to say.

Fabulous work!

Here's a couple of Moonshine images with replacement fleece hands (also added some light colored paw pads).  I included a side shot to show his tail.

Those paws are MUCH better - and the light-coloured pads are a great addition!
