Hello! My name is Sehaj Sethi. I'm a student in the Graduate Film Program at NYU and I'm currently working on my thesis project, which is a short horror film created entirely with puppets.

I realize most members of this site are interested in supporting the world of puppeteers and project that involve puppets. We are pairing with a fantastic puppet theatre in the suburbs or Chicago, Opera In Focus (started by William B Fosser). With their help I hope to make a truly captivating film that plays with the idea of imagination and darkness.

We're currently trying to raise funds for the project via Kickstarter and any visibility/support we could receive would be amazing. The think about Kickstarter is: if you don't reach your goal, you get NOTHING. So this process is pretty stressful! If you can donate, that's amazing! But please don't feel obligated. It helps just as much to pass this along to friends or post about the project on Facebook. Essentially, we'd love to involve those in the world of puppetry in making this film a reality.
