I've heard actors talk about it in the same way: once a project is finished, they always have the same need to try something else. Creativity isn't at all to do with being an "Artiste", it just means you are always journeying forward to try other stuff. Plenty of people do that in the corporate world too, it's usually just referred to as 'innovation'.

Anyway you'll also find practice will make you get better. By far the one thing I've learned from other puppeteers is that there is always more to learn. I have been doing puppets technically for over a decade now: but still feel like a beginner.

Neat job with the eyes - I presume you mean the eyes from the teddy bear/doll section? I've tried them before but not the way you have. Yours look better.

Yeah, I love that puppet building is one of those things that there will always be something to learn... as long as I am learing I feel interested and happy.

Yes the eyes were from the teddy bear/doll section of Spotlight.

Krafty you flatter me - thank you - but we're the same. I'm convinced creativity, art, whatever you want to call it truly does lie in the eye of the beholder. I look at my work and see the flaws, imperfections and challenges I failed to overcome. I know others don't always see those and likewise, I don't see them when I look at other people's work - perhaps we creative types are always too critical of our own work or at the end of the day, all just have uber crap self esteems! In any case, I am really enjoying seeing your work and look forward to seeing so much more.

Since you're not in to self labeling, I hereby dub you creative
