Very professional and perfect to minute details. I strongly disagree with
I doubt I would ever produce a puppet of the quality required for a professional puppeteer.
Your creativity and skills tell a totally different story

I have bought some pretty awful puppets, yours are consistently good quality, you are so talented.  I took apart a store bought puppet to repair it when I first started and found the palate was a piece of cheap crumbled floor tile.  That was when I thought I can sew something better than this myself, so I did.  People keep giving me store bought puppets to "improve" and I say it is usually easier to make it from scratch than remake a bad puppet.  I want a puppet that performs great as well as looks good. A puppet that will not work in a show well might as well be a doll. I like the rods with wooden counter balance, thin rods make my hand cramp up after a while. Maybe you could add a watch or Live Strong braclet to the puppet wrists that the hook could connect to.

Merry Christmas P&Sians - hope you had an awesome Christmas filled with all the good things!

I thought I'd share the grand reveal. The box may not have been what I planned but it combined with the helium balloons definitely dig the trick! It's kind of funny for me looking at these photos - my partner is a panel beater/fabricator on trucks and in his spare time he does up hotrods. He's one of those 'blokey' blokes thats always covered in grease and paint and has little time for anything that doesn't have an engine. It amazes me and kinda makes me giggle how happy he looks in these photos! Just goes to show it really is the thought that counts and puppets are capable of making anyone smile!

That's awesome!  The box, balloons and streamers really looked to add some theatre to the gift. Has he given him a name?

Thank you for adding Julie - not sure what happened there. Yes, it was a hit! No name as yet Krafty. He has now commissioned his father to make a special display cabinet for him so I think all went well. Yay!
