He has now commissioned his father to make a special display cabinet for him so I think all went well. Yay!

Wow, what a great compliment!

Yep - was pretty stoked with that Na! A little sad I can't convince him to take up puppetry with him. He has given the clown a decent work out though

Baby steps, baby steps. First you give him the puppet, then you show him how to use it, then...

An old boss of mine had my puppet sitting in her office and we used to sneak in and add costumes and props to tease her.  When she went to Hawaii and came back he was in Hawaiian shirt with umbrella drink and sunglasses.  When she went to hospital he was dressed as a surgeon.  It was our way of telling her we cared, it was a great moral booster.  Valentines is coming up.......

That's awesome Snail! What sort of employer was it? I can't imagine my boss with a puppet in her office... although she once bought one of my more macabre cloth dolls for her daughter - which was both cool of her to do and kind of weird!

She is a Dr. of Toxicology.  In fact I think she hired me because she saw puppet team manager on my resume. They were tasked with doing a skit to show other sections what Toxicology did and she wanted us to do a puppet show, we did show and it was a smashing success.  The puppet she kept was star of the skit, "old Geezer" we were doing "Who wants to be a Toxicologist" parody of Who wants to be a millionaire show, and Geezer was a wise cracking contestant who never had fast enough fingers to win. He stayed around to make wise cracks in a few team meetings too. He was modeled after those old fellows in the balcony of the Muppet TV show. I still have a VHS tape of the skit, need to transfer it to computer before it crumbles. I am fixing to retire in 2015 and I am planning an outgoing puppet show now for my retirement party. I may need help from you all because I have some abitious ideas.  Sorry did not mean to hijack your thread on this tangent.
