A lever to add moveable eyes to the eyelids: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:212693
A simple baseplate for the eyelids (not made for movable eyes): http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:212683

The assembled eyes with movable eyelids and a lever under the baseplate for the eye. Both eyes can be turned left or right independently.
The plate underneath has a hole under each eye and I made a hole in each ping pong ball - installing LEDs is easy.

This is great! Might have to test out Shapeways on these. Now to figure out the price.

Tioh,
Could anyone down load the file and then go over to shapeways to get it printed or would that be an infringement on your ownership of the file?

I am curious as well.
Not sure how to read that in regards to Shapeways.

I put them on Thingiverse under Non-Commercial Creative Commons license. You can download and print them for your own use - as long as you do not sell them. You can scale them to any size you want.
This is just the first basic model there will be more complicated parts in the future. If anybody wants to buy them I could upload them on Shapeways.

I uploaded the models to shapeways and made them public - anybody should be able to order them:
http://www.shapeways.com/designer/Tioh
https://www.shapeways.com/model/1608464/ping-pong-ball-holder-for-puppet-eyelid.html?li=my-models&materialId=6
https://www.shapeways.com/model/1608483/puppet-eyelid-for-4cm-ping-pong-balls.html?li=my-models&materialId=6
https://www.shapeways.com/model/1608556/lever-for-4cm-ping-pong-ball-movable-puppet-eye.html?li=my-models&materialId=6
https://www.shapeways.com/model/1608595/dog-nose-for-plushies-or-puppets.html?li=my-models&materialId=6
I think I should redo some of the models for Shapeways as the use more material when necessary and Shapeways charges for that. It should be possible to make the models cheaper by reducing the wall thickness and adding some holes (where nobody can see them).
