Hey Everyone,

I haven't been very active on the forum lately,but puppet ideas have still been rolling around in my brain.I decided to make a zombie puppet.

The idea for this guy came to me while I was watching The Walking Dead and checking out puppet patterns.Hehe
Here's what I've got so far: 
 

From here I'm going to work out a character sketch to finalize some details I've been thinking about,and to layout a few little extras.

The head and mouth plate were done from a pattern made by Joel, a fellow member. So a definite thanks to him because the pattern is simple, but gives an awesome head shape! I also used the wedge pattern to shape the bottom of the head.

The body was done from The puppetlady's Torso hybrid pattern. Many thanks to her as well! I love the shape once you get it together and it'll work nicely for some chest and stomach details I want to add. 

I just picked up some model magic so I can start the next phase of the build, so as things develop, I'll update here. Until then my friends.

Great start!  I do some horror conventions.  Here are the ones I took to the last one.  Heavy  on the zombies.

Sounds like is going to be an interesting puppet. Also sounds like you are going to use Daryle's method of adding features and details to your puppet with model magic. Can't wait to see the outcome!
