Yep, looks like its what I thought.  Pretty darn close to Face Off except some will be animation instead of worn by actors.  Too bad.  Should be interesting, but I was hoping for something totally different than Face Off.

Damn, there's no way for me to tell whether it will be on locally. Our cable guide only goes up to the end of Jan, and nothing on their news page says anything about shows in March. Still, thanks for posting this, it means I can better keep my eye out for it.

I was just coming over here to post about this. I applied for this as well (I know some of the other people here on the boards did as well). I didn't want to post about it until they had announced who got in, but the application process was a ton of fun, and I'm happy with how far along I got.

If I had been cast, pretty sure I would have been picked off on episode one or two, judging by the people who are actually competing. Hope it gets picked up for a second season, so I can try again!

I posted this over on the facebook page, but wanted to put it over here for those who don't follow it, and might get a kick out of this. It's a short clip of outtakes from when I was trying to film my audition video. The friend who was supposed to come over and help me got sick, so I had to film myself, and frame it looking into a mirror behind the camera display, since my camera doesn't have the flip forward/film yourself option.

Er, what now? I said I didn't find it. Actually, I didn't even know there was an Oz Syfy website. I just checked the cable guide, since Syfy comes with a particular cable package. But anyway the Oz Syfy site also doesn't list items in March.

I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled. Aus programmers are getting better at getting new shows here almost as soon as they're shown in the US, so with any luck it might actually be on around the same time - if they program it at all.

That's ok - I wasn't clear. Not sure how it works in the US in terms of cable, but we only really have two companies that offer it. We have 'Foxtel' which is basically what it sounds like. All Fox cable stuff. I just looked up the Foxtel program guide/website but didn't bother looking at Syfy, which oddly would have been sensible since I have the US version bookmarked.

At one time cable companies would monopolize an area and you could only get their service. Used to be we could only get Time Warner in the KC area but now there are quite a few other companies including the new Google Fiber. Was so happy when Google Fiber decided to use KC as it test market it really rocks!  Only drawback is they still have not been able to make a deal with AMC so not getting my fix of Walking Dead. Hopefully by next season they will make the deal.
