Hi all. In this, my first post here, I thought I'd share how my first puppet making experience is coming along. Never did much of any sewing other than putting buttons back on, & this is all hand sewn! Did ventriloquism from 1978-2006 & getting back into it, so need a new partner. He is more GOLD colored. Not yellow as he looks here. Still need to make his arms, clothes & maybe legs & feet & "pants". The hat is not mine, but I'll make him one. Hope you like "Sassafras".

Thanks Shawn. The hat is my lady's kid's hat. Goes to something of hers. Was just laying around & so I nabbed it. Need to ask her if Sassafras can keep it.

Thanks TygerHawks &The Director for the kind words. I'm not sure what he'll end up being Director. He's not finished yet. I have one of the arms cut out, But not sure where I'm headed. Probably will be a humanoid. LOL!

Thanks for the kindness Lizzie. & yes, I'll post pics when Sassafras is finished. Just taking my time on this, my first effort, so don't know just how soon that will be. I have both arms/hands cut out & ready to sew & have started hand sewing one of them. Having a BLAST! Thanks again. OH! & P.S., Sassafras has been granted permission to keep the hat.
