The colors and fabric look nice, my favorite is the nose, so smooth. If you play around with those pupils you might get a better focused look that you might like better, he looks a little spaced out with those small pupils. Shiney pupils make it look more alive. I think hair is the hardest part, I am never happy with my hair. I would rather have less hair than a lot of bad hair that detracts from the rest of the puppet.  Your first is way better than my 10th puppet, you are doing great.

The nose was the rushed, running round the house thinking "what can I use" bit of the project!

It ended up being a sock (well part of a sock) wrapped round half a ping pong ball!

I never thought of using half a ping pong ball, I like the half ball better than the whole ball nose, I may have to copy that idea.
