So, I changed my mind on which character to use :D  Have to fix the one eye, and fill out the face some.  But the head is about done.

Looks pretty good! What did you use for the pupils? I take it you ended up using the light fixture globes as the base.

Actually picked up a smooth styrofoam ball, the pupils were cut from large googly eyes.

So...to semi derail the topic.  After pricing Gi tops, I determined that I should find another costume other then Luke.  In research, I discovered that when Sesame Street uses Cookie in a parody, he is often the woman.  He was the main character in Hungry Games, as well as Amy Pond from Doctor Who.  Other Google images show him with various long hair.  Just something amusing.  I wont be going that route, will be "cosplaying Sam Axe" simply because I think Cookie will look good in a hawaiian shirt and slacks.

Cool bit on the wiki Shawn.  I looked up miss piggy while there. No wonder she was hard to replicate when I had a go. She has done  quite a bit of morphing over the years.

Hawaiian shirt and chain bought.  Just need to tighten the chain so it is visible:



Arms, watch, and pinkie ring will round out this Sam Axe cosplay.  Debating on whether to attempt feet or not.  Also may wear a concealed toy pistol.  Need to sell the Sam Axe and not just Cookie in a shirt.

I like Sam Ax idea.  It always looked to me like Cookie's pupils were pivoted to one side so they swing around with movement.  Are you going to have crazy eyes?
