Well it looks to be a variation on a classic horizontal airplane control.  Looks to me to be the basic controls for a marionette. Tracked down the name in the upper right corner of the company and they have a website. http://www.castironcarousel.org/ Maybe they could provide more information.

This is a control I have been developing for almost 20 years. It started out as a Dwiggins control in the late 1990's and, because of arthritis in my wrists, I evolved it to be more ergonomic. I believe I have made several advancements over the 26 iterations including the adjustable belaying pins for holding strings.

Geahk,

Hey welcome to Puppets and Stuff and thanks for chiming in on this.

So do you sell these controls or plans for them?  The smaller image seems to indicate that you may sell plans. Sure folks would be interested in where they could get them if you do.

Hello all- Did anyone ever find out if the (readable) plans are available for this controller?  Does the gentleman who created the controller have the plans for sale?
I thank you in advance for your reply.

I don't believe that Geahk has been back to the site recently you might want to use their contact page to see if you can get more information. http://www.castironcarousel.org/contact

Hello all-

Being new to this exciting hobby I have spent hours at the library and on the internet researching anything I can find on marionettes.  There is a lot of information on designing, building, etc.etc. etc.  There is also a lot of info on different kinds and styles of controllers. Three string to 15+ strings.

However- I have not been able to find any instructional or example videos of someone actually using a controller.  Explaining how they achieve multiple movements of their figure.  How they move their hands to different positions to achieve the effects they are after.

Maybe I am not looking in the right places.  I hope you understand where I am going with this- any leads would be appreciated.
