Paper maché help Posted by Sandra on Aug 19, 2014
Hi guys, I remember a few years back a puppet maker that used mostly paper mache and I unfortunately cannot remember his name, I know he is from Canada. I used to watch him on blog tv, but the site doesn't exist anymore, it has moved to another name. Anybody can help me out? Thanks.

One such Canadian would be Mathieu René. Unfortunately, he has moved his tutorials off-line and only maintains a Facebook page now (https://www.facebook.com/TheCreaturiste). His blog site can be found at: http://www.creaturiste.blogspot.co.nz/ (don't know why that's showing an nz address, although I suspect it's via an nz blogger feed).

I do, however, have copies of two of his tutorials: "A Modern Mash Up" (originally published in the British UNIMA's Puppet Notebook, Issue 19, Summer, 2011 and "Paper Mache", both saved as Word.docs. Because of authorship issues, I cannot/will not post them here online; but, PM me and I can email them to you (all up about 120 kb.)

Regards,
Dorian
