Thanks for the PDF JonathanB. It has come at a good time. I have a large puppet come back to me for modifications and one is the body shape, and the other is fatter legs. I must get onto that project, but I have been procrastinating a bit, as I have a ton of editing to do. If I actually do these modifications, they want several more. So.. must get onto it.
Shawn and Chris, is PuppetLady still around? She's gooood.

No problem, if you'd like a different page format let me know and I can resize! (Or, just load up the .svg in Inkscape - for someone proficient in Blender it should pose no problems!)

Thanks, Inkscape is just fine. Now I have no excuse to not stop procrastinating on this project....

Yes I think Puppet Lady still pops in now and then. Last time though was in June so it has been a couple months.

After a bit of a hiatus due to work, other commitments and then a couple of days being ill, I've bitten the bullet and decided to get on with the head.
I finally decided to cut the mouth out and glue gun around the inside of the mouth (after cutting a template of course!). I eventually decided that having done a pattern in cotton to give me an idea of where the seams might go, doing it this way will hopefully allow me to minimise them as much as possible! Fingers crossed...
Glued on around mouth plate:
Starting to bunch up and pin where the seams might go before cutting off the excess... (eep! )

Looking good! You mouth glue looks nice and clean... congrats! Seems like your seams are heading in the right direction. Just keep pinning till you get what you like.

Son't get too nervous! I really am enjoying watching you do your project. This is proof that there is no one way to make puppets. Some folks use a pattern for the fleece, and some drape, pin and sew, as you do. I suppose that someday I will be making a puppet this way, and I am enjoying seeing how you are doing it.
