Very nice puppet, and well described and illustrated building process. Thanks for letting us know about it. Do you have any plans for how you will use the puppet?

well... funny you should ask that. actually "using" puppets is not my strong point. I had an idea for a wee video and the jeely piece song (a scottish folk song about jam sandwiches). But I've just not gotten round to it yet.

I've been trying to sell some puppets on etsy - with no luck as yet, but I know I have to make my photos better... watch out for a light box blog.

I know my limitations and I am not comfortable with performing. I don't mind doing film stuff for youtube cos there's nobody there when you are doing it, but I'd love to see my puppets being used. and I'd love to make some space in my house for more puppet making

I think there are a number of puppet makers here on the site that don't do any performance stuff. Nothing wrong with that. There are a lot of performers that don't make puppets, also. At any rate, I liked the sandwich, and was just kind of wondering what it might be used for. I was thinking about someone who did nutrition talks to kids, stuff like that.
