Just saw this on FB. Adam K had pointed it out.
BYOPuppet is an evolving catalog of 3D printed joints and puppet parts designed to help storytellers. Based on feedback from today's creative community, the rich history of puppet theater from around the world, and 3D design and engineering, BYOPuppet aims to empower the Maker Movement.

They don't have a huge catalog yet but they do have joints, feet and hands. These are for use with 1/2" and 3/4" PVC pipe to make a table top rod puppet.

This is really cool, 3D printing of puppet parts. It's a whole new world out there, isn't it? I hope they do well.

Yes it is a whole new world.  I sometimes find it hard to keep up!   I guess we need to start a list of Shape Ways users who have puppet related stuff available.  It can be a bit pricey for parts but no more really then any other industries.

Agreed, Shawn. Besides, increased sales volume will also end up lowering prices. It makes me wonder, with the advent of D prinitng, how much longer will some of the plastic parts suppliers continue to stock an inventory, and just start making to order?

I think there will always be the bulk part suppliers. Just can't beat the prices when you mass produce something. Could be wrong though.
