Hi All, Im about to embark on a replica adventure. My husband is obsessed with Cookie Monster and has begged me for years to make one. Well I have decided after much deliberation to make one. Im just starting my research and trying to decide which colour I would like for Cookie. I realise that Cookies Colour has changed over the years and Im not sure what one I like the best. If anyone could give me their option of what they think is a great cookie monster colour I would appreciate it.

Have you asked your husband his preference.   The third one seems to fit best the color seen on the toys the market. It is also a better length then the others.

I agree Shawn. Most of what I have seen is the third option... then second is the first option.

I'm too color-blind to offer an informed opinion. I like the suggestion of asking your husband.

I don’t want him to know what I’m up to. I have said that Im making one for a client. However I am not. :D  
I don’t want to make cookie as he is portrayed on the “toys” in the market but based on the actual puppet.

Personally, I like the second one, more like the original Cookie. The third one to me looks too much like Grover's current color. Where did you find these swatches from?

Well wouldn't you know it Animal31, I think you are right. I just did a google search for Cookie Monster and compared the images with these swatches. It's a close race between option two and one. I thought option three was a good one, but that shows how good (or bad) my  color memory is .

Yeah, the third one seems a bit too long.  The second is more screen accurate, but I think the first would look better for a full body as it stands out more.

Id agree with the second one, I always remember that cookie monsters colour was a bit of a 'grubby' blue rather than the bright blue of option three, but I'm not sure it would really make a huge difference to be honest, as we all know that once the shape is created and the features are added, it becomes obvious who the puppet is as there are no other puppets that look like him with the wiggly eyes and large mouth.
