Can you add a forum topic for new puppet builders like "Newbies" I would think it is overwhelming for someone new to the site and new to puppetry trying to locate information. I know we have the search feature and advanced search feature but that does not work unless you certain keywords
I have got to familiarize myself with things......has there been any major changes in the forum that I'm not aware of. I've gotten so use to the Facebook setup that I have got to review things...speaking of can you share post here with Facebook other than adding a post link.

Another question? how has Facebook affected traffic here at P&S and what would be the best way to introduce the two sites. Ok I found Puppets and Stuff Around the Web and clicked share to share with my FB SS Puppets page. It is the link to puppets n stuff. Is it possible to share post with FBook?

I don't really know that another topic would really help. Seems as that most simply post in the general area anyway. I don't really mind and sometimes move them if they fit a category.
I think maybe the only change you might not have been around for is that I created an FAQ area. I've tried to add to it the most common question along with a short answer and links to post that have to do with it if there are any. Willing to add more if you have suggestions. This is a good place for newbies to start of if they ask a common question it makes it easier to direct them to that post instead of looking up the old post on the subject.
I tried to integrate FB like at one time but just got to complicated. We do get some traffic coming from the Puppets and Stuff FB page https://www.facebook.com/puppetsandstuff but not a lot. The best way if you do want to share something is simply post the link to the topic over at FB. There is the AddThis service that covers all the social sites, and I may add that integration into the site at some time. That would make it a bit easier to share a topic without copy and paste of URL.

Oh yes the Share on the main page is for the FB page not for the site itself. Hmm... maybe I should change that.
