God Save The Queen Posted by Anton's Angels on Feb 09, 2015
My latest puppet.Queen Liz.
Performed with her on Saturday.
Was a bit of a rush job as had to put her together in a week (imagine the amount of swearing!) also first time experimenting with a 'live' hand
Always amazes me that all the individual pieces of the face don't look like your vision until they are all put together.
Also made the Crown (so happy with that) from a foam EVA floor mat: light, sturdy, easily shaped with heat they are great for props.

Nice job. The crown looks great! The texture of the foam really helps give the crown some depth.

That's really cool! How big is the crown?
Re: God Save The Queen Posted by Anton's Angels on Feb 09, 2015
Size is approx 16x16 cm (6"x6") not including the orb
Re: God Save The Queen Posted by Na on Feb 09, 2015
Wow, that's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I guess I'm confused as to what the puppet is. I thought it was just two fingers for the legs, and then a costume over the hand... is it a glove puppet?

It's a hand in mouth puppet!
Her head is as big as mine.
