Does anyone know of any books or sketches anywhere that would have information on building a belly dancing marionette? pictures of the control anything will help thanks in advance   

While I have not built a belly dancing marionette I have built a gypsy marionette that had similar movements. I am afraid I don't have detailed pictures though since it was many years ago.  All I really did though was add two control strings.  One to each side of the hips that ran up to a control bar that could be lifted off the main control.  This control was at the very front of the main control so I could not only get her hips to swivel in place but by pulling the bar forward and up then dropping the main control she could do a back bend and swivel hips.

question, you said the control was put on the front..would that be in front of the leg bar also? Because the leg bar is usually the front bar so you can remove that or does this not have a leg bar..

No she has a leg bar but since it was wider then the hip bar I placed it right behind the hip bar and it is also removable. Being wider the leg bar comes off and the hip strings do not get in the way.
