Hello everyone after a few weeks  whiteout making a puppet I make one again

and after this one there are three more puppets to go.but I will working on one now. The other three do I  another time.

I working now on a puppet and I call him mike or something in that direction like nick.

His character whould be a game addicted person white many money problems

and he whould always be stoned by the weed what he smokes when he is playing video games to forget all his problems. So thats a little bit about his character how he whould be as a person or better said as a puppet:) (I know bad word joke)

I have first made a head out of foam white a standard pattern what I have found on google.

This is the first time that I use foam for the build of a puppet. And afcourse  are there some mistakes:( and the mouth is not turned out well. But I hope that it will looks beter if the fleece its on. Or some other material. I see what I got in my house.

Not to bad.  Instead of fishing line just use sewing thread.  The fishing line well be to stiff and heavy. It looks like maybe you sewed the foam together instead of gluing it. Am I right about that? Your foam should be glued and your skin and cloths sewn.

You did pretty good for your first puppet. The more you do it the better you'll get!   Keep it up.

Yeah you are right i have shew the foam toghter.first i tryed to glue it white a hot glue gun but that's failed.and after three times of trying to glueing i have shew it toghter because if you schew it see you later nothing from the foam.but i wil give glueing   a new try on a futuristic build.

Link no longer available.Contact cement works better then hot glue for gluing foam. Not sure what it is called in the Netherlands or what brands there are. It is also used for gluing counter tops.  You spread a thin layer on each piece you want to glue then let them get tacky. Maybe around 15 minutes. You then press each piece together.

With your glue gun it helps if it is a low temp gun.  When you use glue gun on foam, the foam tends to hold in the heat and the glue never really cools or at least it takes a long time. Some people use the canned air that is used to clean electronics to help cool it down fast.
