a little quastion:can painted foam into the microwave? Posted by grnlxx21342 on May 16, 2015
I have painted little pieces of foam with acryl paint. the foam is the same stuff what they used for in chairs.
But it dray not so fast.
I was thinking if i put the painted foam into the microwave for 2 or 3 minets. On maximum high whould it be dray faster. or is that not so safe. And will my microwave than explode.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO THIS!!
this is not a good idea and could cause you a lot of health problems and a possible electrical fire. you just need to be patient and let the paint dry, if you put it in the microwave then you will probably melt the foam and release toxic gases from the melted foam, others will tell you the same, you could put it in an airing cupboard or just wait for it to dry.
patience is key, do not do this as you will risk becoming very ill if you do.

I have just had a thought, if you really are insistent on speeding things up a bit, then you could always gently dry it using a hair dryer on a low heat, maybe even on the cool setting!!
