I ordered the DVDs "Making Sculpted Puppets with Verna Finely" a while back and sort of forgot about them.  I found them in my stash today and popped the first one in. I am sitting here slack-jawed at her artistry!  And she makes it look so easy!  I cannot wait to try some of these techniques.  I wish I'd had this video sooner, but I didn't know it existed.  I ordered it from

I had this set on VHS, and she really was amazing at what she did back then and she went into so much detail on how to make awesome puppets like she makes, truly one of the masters and a definite to have in your collection!!

Verna was(is)a wonderful friend. I sold the last two figures that she made at our Ventriloquist Festival in Las Vegas(before she retired). She sent me many color photos of her creations, and I have about 30+ of her patterns. I would be interested in seeing how your puppet turns out.
