A look at my latest marionette project. Posted by marionettics on Aug 10, 2015
Hi guys, been a while since I've posted but thought I would share a little bit about what I've been up to lately. Here's a little look at the ballerina from my new circus marionette show. The marionettes were made by Alex Mergold, who does amazing work. Hope you guys enjoy!

I'll put up a little look at the rest of the marionettes in the show over the next few weeks if people are interested!

I'd love to see more. My three-year old girl made me show her the video four times, and said over and over, "She's so pretty!"

Wonderful job!  Keep posting if you add anything new.  Out of curiosity- how tall is he?

The illusion worked well. My five-year old asked why he didn't fall. Very nice!

He is 10" tall... All the marionettes in this set are about 10" so really small compared to most marionettes. I had these commissioned purely because I loved the idea of marionettes on a smaller scale that really draw the eye of the audience into the performance. For typical theatre work they'd be too small for an audience to appreciate, but for street performance and small shows they are designed to really draw the audience in and create a more intimate atmosphere.
