Presenting, The Earl of Lemongrab! Or, Puppetgrab, if you will.

Two things I've always really liked are puppets and animation. So the first puppet I made was this Earl of Lemongrab from Adventure Time.







He's a little lumpy and wonky and my sewing skills are super rusty, but I set out to try my hand at puppet construction and here it is. I might have a video of him in action sometime soon.

He must be all right. My five-year-old just saw the first picture, started laughing, asked what his name was, and then wanted to see the rest of the pictures.

Not bad at all. The more you do the better you'll get at smoothing out those bumps.

I'm dealing with a bought of laryngitis right now, but once it's all gone I'll have some videos of Puppetgrab in action!

The first puppet I made was a lumpen red thing that was renamed The Christmas Slug. :D The important thing is getting started, so no need to feel bad about not getting a perfect result!
