Welcome! I enjoyed the video, especially when Lord Barnabus pointed out that he was furry. Unusual in an octopus.

The furryness was a birth defect. As far as I know the rest of his family are fur free.

Wow that voice is great and your pace and movements were very good. I enjoyed the scones very much.  I have never understood what a scone was.  I thought it was like short bread, but from your recipe it sounds closer to a Texas biscuit.  Can't tell what you are calling crème, looks thick like custard. You need some big suction cups on his tentacles to help him hold his scones.  You are talented.

I look forward to seeing  more.  ....I've always wanted to do a puppet cooking program, but  never got around to it.....and Andre reminds me of my wife. Yes Snail, scones are like Texan Biscuits... but biscuits are cookies....and cookies are things they put on your computer....

Thanks for the feedback. I'm intrigued to eat a texas biscuit now. Between the English speaking nations, we certainly know how to make foods confusing by renaming them.

I've seen some of your videos pagestep007 and like the travel videos with Frogo. He certainly gets around. I've only pulled Barnabas out in broad daylight a couple of times so far, as I'm not sure how I'd explain to people what I'm doing if they saw me filming a puppet in a public place. Hopefully I get as adventurous as you with going to various locations.

Also, btw, I'm Aussie not British, so glad Barnabas has fooled you. hehe.  I hope your wife is aware that you've compared her to a French giraffe.

Aaaargh... Nooo, not an Aussie!  You had me totally fooled. (well done) Keep it up.
   Filming in public is a little scary to start with, but then it becomes fun after a while, and you get to fool people that you are a very important international movie producer (when you are not). You get used to just going for it and filming anywhere. Not so here where we are now though. It's a bit dangerous to do that. Another thing is, that it helps pass the time while waiting for travel connections etc. Frogo's next episode should come out today or tomorrow, depending on how the subtitling goes. ....my wife now knows about Andre...I am still alive.

I don't think you have to explain what you are doing to anyone (except perhaps to an inquisitive police officer). That's half the fun, being mysterious!

ha Chris...a few new year's ago, we had police and security guards, street people, transgenders, and some tense times getting a scene done in the center of the city here (I am glad we walked away with camera and puppets). Another time police and security guards barred us from filming in front of one building, which took a half an hour of sitting in hot sunshine while one of the team went to secure permission to use the footpath and steps of said building. It does seem that security people are a little more relaxed with puppets, but not always.
