"Puppet Cycling" and more Posted by Henry3D on Nov 15, 2015
Hi guys,

I'm actually a Computer Graphics animator and puppetry art enthusiast, new in this website.

For the last few years I decided to create my own puppet style mixing both techniques: 3D animation and puppetry.

The first video is a short film I made in my masters degree (Animation) at the Academy of Art University in SF, finished in 2011.
"Puppet Cycling"

The second one I made at home for fun. I have more videos in progress coming up.
"Only Imagination Saves"

I want to share the results with you and I'm open for feedbacks. This is the first time I'm presenting them to a puppetry art community!

Thanks

Welcome to Puppets and Stuff Henry.  Very cool videos! I really liked your master's degree submission. The expressions and movement in the animation was excellent. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Have you done any live puppetry? Well beyond the hand work you did that is.

Hi Shawn! Thanks for your words!

No, I don't have experience with live puppetry. I thought about it when I was a child once I always liked cartoon characters and story but ended up becoming an animator. Now I'm trying to mix both.

What are the mistakes am I having with the hand work? I'll learn and try to avoid next time.

thanks

Actually I don't think there where any mistakes you made with the hand work.  I was pretty impressed with it.
