Thanks

The first puppet had a rectangular mouthplate, that second one is somewhat oval.  Decided to keep the theme and working off a triangle mouthplate :D

So yeah....body suit didn't go quite as planned.

Good thing I am doing a patched teddy bear :D  A lot of the stomach area will be covered by the plaid fabric of the nose, and I will strategically place fleece patches to help cover some of the seams.  Now to fill it out some.  Since I am working under the impression that a mascot is just a giant puppet, I have enlarged the Project Puppet simple alternative body pattern 300% and hope to create a vest out of it.  Will be interesting to see how that works.

Not at all what I intended for the triangle mouthplate (guess thats actually a diamond).  But, sometimes the puppet chooses to go off script :D

The foam belly kind of works!  Well, the back is too big to zip it up, so need to alter it a bit.  Amazing the multiple uses that can be found from puppet patterns :D

Love the patchwork tummy.

Yeah, I saw that fabric at Joannes and had to incorporate it.  Can't make it out much in ears and nose, but very distinctive on the belly.  Going to have to get more creative for the paws so it is more visible.

Hope to do the arms this week, and finish up some patches.

Still working on him, have one arm done.  Not real happy with the arm, very wrinkly and folded.  Anyway, short test video with poor mic.
