Hi, I'm new to this site, My name is Derrick and I'm really interested in puppets. I haven't really made any yet but I am a big fan of this kinda art. I don't have much money to have any material but I hope someday I will get to post pictures of things I have made on here.

This is a good place to learn about puppet construction. You can make some great puppets with recycled items cheaply. I made a puppet out of old green fur coat. Look around at what you do have and imagine it as a puppet. I see potential puppets and props every where I go now.

Welcome! Have you checked out ProjectPuppet.com? I also recommend Adam Kreutinger's videos on YouTube and Tom at The Creature Work's "Puppeteer's Unite". Just thought I should throw that out there!
