Hello Everyone! Posted by WolfNoir on Feb 20, 2018
Hello hello! My name is Everett, I'm from New York and I just started getting into puppetry and puppeteering recently! I became really curious about the Muppets because for some reason, I had somehow never really watched Muppet media as a child, and then I fell down the endless rabbit hole of puppets! I've just started working on an axolotl puppet and I'm just waiting on buying contact cement to put together the arms and hands! Here's a few pics so far.

Where are all of you from, and what projects have you been working on recently?

Welcome to PandS!  The puppet is looking good. I am from KCMO, right in the middle of the US.

Yup! Looks great! If you have any questions, you can just ask here. The community on Puppets and Stuff is great, and answers questions fast. If I see your question, I can try to answer it myself, or point you to a resource.

Welcome!  Yes, puppets are addicting and it is easy to fall fast!  I have tried giving them up multiple times, but keep coming back to building.  Central Texas here, currently working on aquatic puppets for educational videos.  One reason I am interested in your axoloti.

oh, that's so cool! i was gonna make it pink, originally, but I figured it'd probably be best to test it out on some scrap fleece to make sure the design actually works. what kind of puppets, specifically, are you working on?

Right now my focus is on a wearable sea serpent, as the main character.  Next up is a variety of fish, aquarium decor, and things for the nitrogen cycle.  Educational videos for the aquarium hobby.

oh, that's fantastic! i'm an avid fishkeeper, myself, though I don't have more than a 20 gal at this moment. i keep a bunch of tetras and mollies, and im trying to find a place to set up a larger tank because someone in my household decided to dump a spiny eel on me, despite the fact that they grow to be 2 feet long :|
Re: Hello Everyone! Posted by TygerMin on Feb 25, 2018
Oooh...spiny eels look amazing!  To be fair, I am teamed up with the fish guy, I am doing puppets and social media.  Do have a 20 that I am trying to learn on, down to a Gourami, couple of glass cats, a molly, and a female betta.  Very interesting hobby, you get all excited then things die and you start to question.  So much to learn!  We are turning my garage into a fish room, so going to go from my one 20 to 9 10's and working on shelving for some 40's.  Also going to set up a 20 long planted and a 55 gallon to start some monster fish.  I chose tiger shovelnose cat for that one :D  Goal is breeding and potential selling on the fish, and a YouTube channel for the puppet videos and personal vlog.  Going to be playing with figuring some fish out today using project puppet patterns.
