I can link from geocites cause I have a website.  It's a freebie though.  There is no puppet stuff on it, except the things I used here.  You can't access these images from the actual site though.  I do have a pattern for infants no tie shoes and a cloth diaper pattern if you want to go there. (that's right I said cloth...save the planet... i insist)

I can remember those grapes! My gramma still has all kinds of those.

I put my eyes in after the kiddos went to bed last night.  Here is a quick look see.  I promise to show the whole puppet when she is done!

I cut a small line in the fabric where I wanted the eye to be and glued a ball of stuffing in there.



Then I glued the eyes to a piece of fleece that matched my puppet. 


I glued the eyes in place. Scary!



Next, I tucked the eyelid and edges under and glued.


Added a lash...



And made it all pretty...

Great tutorial Magenta...... I'm still on trying to design the eyes using my corel paint shop pro X program. I"ll keep playing around with.

Billy - If you want I can make you some eyes! All you would have to do is resize them to whatever size you want. 

Would you please... I could then take and have them coped or printed or pictures or what ever. I would appreciate it so much.............. I've tried just making copies of the Doll eyes in the catalogs but when copied thy have that streak of light on one side.

I can't wait 'til it's done! The suspense is killing me.

Easier way... and you don't have to cut up you puppet skin.  Thise is on practice eyes and the are not as pretty.  All I had was opaque spoons, so the iris is on the outside.


First I cut an eyelash line and glue it in plce this was way easier to check the symmetry.

Next I cut out fabric squares.

I ran a bead of glue along the top of the lash line and stuck the fabric down.

When dry I flipped the fabric over, tucked the excess behind the eye and glued.

I really like both tecniques, another great job. You go girl..............
