Besides the difference in letters, yes there is a difference. PofA is primarily American puppeteers and UNIMA is more International with members from around the world.

Hey people
I got the email and really wanted to go. I was immediately on there checking out flights but its pretty expensive so not sure if I'll manage it. Got to save up for PoA 2009 in Georgia. I'm hoping work might send me out there.. slim chance but you never know! Does sound great though.. maybe if I sell some puppets...

But isnt UNIMA USA the us branch of the international group, ie american puppeteers?

I will be attending this. Will anyone else from here be going? If you are going and you see a tall blond guy say "hi Jon" attaching photos for refrenence so you don't say hi to the wrong tall blond guy.
