I have a monkey puppet named Kid Cool. He loves bananas, but he loves Jesus more than he loves bananas. I usually do a very small number of performances each year in churches. I would like to greatly expand the number of performances that I do in churches, as well as expand to doing corporate events and fundraising events for nonprofit organizations.

I would appreciate any tips for publicty and promotion, as well as for getting events scheduled

My husband and I direct a puppet team at our church where we perform once a month as well as doing a few performances in other churches.  I am a ventriloquist/illusionist who performs in libraries, churches, Scouting events, nursing homes, schools etc.  When I was just starting out most of my "advertising" was word of mouth.  Now I send out information to the churches and libraries in my area.  I have separate information for churches and libraries.  Once I started sending out information and getting invited to different places I now find that word of mouth still gets me a number of bookings, but having a nice packet of information has really increased my bookings also.  Let me know if I can help in any other ways and HAVE FUN!!  I know that puppets reach children in ways that most other programming cannot!!

I am new here, please give tips how to raise fund to finance a puppet show to schools for free. I am a amatuer puppet maker but need to go further to promote values to children in schools.
Please share skits and scripts it is a big help
