I feel your pain. I recycled the arms off a doll from the Goodwill. That was the hardest thing...you try chopping the arms off a doll while it's looking at you.
I also weirded my friends out once during a RPG night by decapitating puppies while we played. That didn't bother me though because I knew I was gonna put the heads back on. Besides, what stuffed animal wouldn't love to become a marionette? I ask you!
