I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet, if so I apologize.  I came across this awesome tutorial last night on Puppeteer's Unite website on blinking eyes, it's a video on building simple blinking eyes.  I can't wait to try it.    Here's the link.

Yes it is a great tutorial, it is based on a drawing that has been floating around on the internet for a while.  It is good to see it in action because many had questioned whether it was a workable mechanism and the drawings were hard to decipher easily.  It seems that it is a fine working model and glad someone has finally done something to prove that point.

I think people would be greatly suprised if they used the advanced search.. (the little maginfying glass at the top right of the screen) here at P&S, This stuff has been brought up years ago in previous post. Just take the time to search a little............. you will be surprised

Yeah, I bookmarked that particular post, but still had a little difficulty really envisioning how it really worked.  I'm going to use what Shawn posted and combine it with what puppeteers unite posted to see what I can come up with.

Very good tutorial.  I like that he kept it simple yet gave you hints to some extra steps you can do to enhance the method.  I know that often I get too detailed and just confuse things.

I was emailed this link from puppet buzz and already made my first attempt of this mech.  I used foam balls for eyes and floral wire...IT WORKED!!!  I was so pleased with my results.  I still have to film my puppet so you can see the eyes move but I think it turned out well.  I'll be listing selling it in my shop this weekend as soon as I finish filming him.  I am trying to get video clips of all my listed puppets to show my customers the manipulation.
