I made one time only for a personal friends daughter. I did use 1/2 inch foam inside the head. I'm not sure how the original was made. I think it is everyones dream to at least attempt a look a like but then venture to our own styles.

Good luck I would say just go for it.

To me it sorta looks the Glorified Sock Puppet that Project Puppet sells.

That pattern has been around for some time. It is not an actual Kermit used in shows but a toy Kermit that was taken apart.  No foam is needed in this type of puppet, for the head at least.

Yes, I'm sure I made on with this style. Just make sure the mouthboard is fitting correctly or when you move the mouth the tension will rip the edges of your puppets mouth.

It's just a nice reference...experiment experiment experiement!

You could always come back here if you have more questions. We'll help you out.

If you really want to build a kermit the frog. Someone took a part a kermit the frog master replica.  This will help you with trying to build your own. Enjoy!!

I agree, this is probably as close are your going to get to an "actual" kermit pattern.  Good Luck and I hope you share photos of your completed success!

I'm not sure where I got this .................. but it was some where in my picture files. It seems someone made the pattern pieces. If I remember correctly they were to follow up with directions. I was fortunate to save as much as I have after my computer crash last year.

Hey Billy, I'd like to make this pattern available on my website resources page. Do you know who this belongs to and if there is permission to publish it for free use?

Lemme Know, cause it would be another great free pattern to make available to others!

Michele I'm almost positive that it was posted by a member here at P&S many moons a go. He first posted it in its german version. he converted it to english and even had the step by step instructions. I lost the information on the directions when my computer crashed. I have tried to search thru back post..........Perhaps Shawn or Andrew knows.

I would say use it and offer to give the person credit when you find out who it is. Here are pictures of the german pictures he first posted.
